ANNUAL REPORT 2024-2025
I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone present at this wonderful gathering.
On behalf of the management, staff, and students of Army Public School Kamptee, I am honored to welcome our respected Patron, Maj Gen Sanjay Kumar Vidhyrthi, AVSM, SM, Chairman Brig K. Anand, esteemed dignitaries, and our dear parents on this momentous occasion of our Annual Report Presentation for the year 2024-2025.
We are proud to celebrate the 18th year of our illustrious academic journey. We started with a humble beginning in 2007, enrolling 234, and we have now meticulously grown to a strength of 1450 learners.
I would like to begin this celebration of our success by expressing gratitude to our esteemed management, both past and present. Their vision, wisdom, and unwavering commitment have inspired all stakeholders to work with passion and dedication. As we express our thanks, let us remember that "The highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."
With great pleasure, I present the Annual Report for 2024.
Academic Achievements
Anal Khan of Class XII (Stream Humanities) secured 94.8%.
Ayman Ali and Nidhi Wagh of Class X achieved 95.6%.
School Achievements
Army Public School(APS) Kamptee has achieved notable recognition by securing the 10th position in Maharashtra and the 1st position in Nagpur in the Best School category among Central Government Day Schools, as acknowledged by Education Word India for the 2025-2025 academic year.
Additionally APS Kamptee has been awarded the prestigious "Best School Award" at the International Abacus, Vedic, and Mental Maths Olympiad 2025. This honour enhancing aalytical thinking skills for our students.
Sports Achievements
NCC Cadet S.K.Aman secured 2nd place in the All India Thal Sainink Camp (AITSC) for the Inter Directors Shooting Competition (IDSSC).
At the 8th National Mixed Martial Arts Championship 2025. Anshika won a gold Medal, while Muskan, Asmita, Varsha, Harshit, and Aarush earned silver medals. Vivek, Kunal, Guru, and Aarav brought home bronze medals.
In the Maharashtra State Level Sub Junior and junior Wushu Championship 2024, Muskan and Vivek won gold, and Varsha earned a bronze medal. Harshit Dayani participated in the DSO State Level won gold, and Varsha earned a bronze medal. Harshit Dayani participated in the DSO State Level Tournament in Pune, where Aarav, Harshit, Varsha, Vivek, and Deepak achieved gold. In the District Level Federation Wushu Tournament 2024, Silver medals were won by Asmita, Mayank, Guru, Rosham, Advay, Manik, Akarshan, Kunal and Mohit, while bronze medals were bagged by Anshika Sinha, Aarush, Shaurya, Ashfiya, and Ansh.
In the DSO District Leel Wushu Tournament 2024-2025 for under- 17 boys, Vivek, Mohit, and Devrasu placed 1st, with Deepak in 2nd and Guru Tadse in 3rd.
Saksham Singh and Akarshan Rajput secured 2nd place in the DSO Nagpur District Level Archery Tournament 2024-2025. APS Kamptee won 1st place in the DSO Divisional Laevel Taekwondo Tournament 2024-2025 and 2nd in the Challenger Taekwondo League Championship 2024. Vivek Gawai and Mohit achieved 2nd, While Devrasu stood 3rd in the Divisional Level Wushu Tournament. Vivek also obtained 3rd place in the DSO Kamptee Taluka level Athletics Tournament (200 meters).
Also, our Taekwondo team won 1st place in the Kickers Taekwondo Cup.
Other Achievements
We take great pride in sharing that Jayani Chaurasiya of Classs IX secured the 2nd position and a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 in the Universal Postal Union International Letter Writing Competition 2024.
At the Reso-Vista 2024 Interstate Scholarship Exam, our students brought laurels - Amrita Nathe and Princess (Class IX) won Gold Medals, while Anshika and Tanisha Behera (Class X) bagged Silver Medals.
Our School also earned the 3rd position in the Cluster Level English Debate Competition held at APS Sagar.
A group of 44 students enthusiastically participated in Junior TECHNEX at Vincent Palloti College, Nagpur- a celebration of innovation in science and technology.
Students represented our school proudly in various cluster-level events, including quizzes and debates, showcasing their intellectual prowess.
School Celebrations
The Pre-Primary Wing dazzled in their Annual Day, Rangotsav, a vibrant expression of talent and creativity.
Army Public School, Kamptee, celebrated its annual Sports Day on December 21, 2024, with great enthusiasm and fervor, promoting the message of peace through a kaleidoscope of colorful performances. The school's playground was transformed into a vibrat spectacle, showcasing the students' energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Educational Exposure
To ensure learning beyond classrooms, we organized an excursion to Fun Planet for Classes I to VI.
Also, a picnic to Anand Van and a visit to Sarv Dharm Sthal for our Pre-Primary Students.
63 Students from Class VII visited the Military Hospital in Kamptee. This educational trip offered them a unique opportunity to understand the inner workings of hospital operations and gave them a deeper appreciation of the healthcare system.
Meanwhile, students from Class XII, accompanied by their Psychology instructor, visited the Sub-District Hospital in Kamptee. This visit allowed them to observe firsthand the delivery of mental health care and understand the consultation process, offering valuable insights that extended their classroom learning into practical, real-world applications.
Our Students also had the chance to visit the Ex-Serviceman Contributory Health Scheme, or ECHS, where they interacted with veterans and gained meaningful insights into the structure and functioning of this important healthcare facility.
New Initiatives
Infrastructure
As part of our continued commitment to academic excellence and technological advancement, the school has undertaken several key infrastructure enhancements this year.
Air Duct Cooling Systems have been installed in classrooms to create a more conducive and comfortable learning environment.
To promote interactive and technology-driven education, Interactive Panels have been introduced across classrooms.
Further, the Information Technology Lab 2 has been upgraded to meet evolving digital learning needs, and the Atal Tinkering Lab has also been enhanced to foster innovation, critical thinking, and hands-on learning among students.
We improved campus navigation by installing direction boards, room nameplates, and labelling blocks A to G.
New motivational boards now adorn our corridors, inspiring students every day.
Social media
In a move towards enhancing the school's digital presence and engaging more with the community, the school has officially launched its Instagram page. The page aims to showcase the vibrant activities, achievements, and events taking place within the school.
E-Cards
In collaboration with ICICI, we introduced E-Carts - a step towards a greener campus and better staff mobility.
Parent Orientation Program
A Parent Orientation program was conducted for classes 10 and 12. The program aimed to encourage collaboration between parents and the school for the holistic development of students, highlighting the importance of a balanced approach to academics and well-being.
In alignment with the National Education Policy 2020, we held interactive orientation programs for Classes VIII and IX and introduced parents to hybrid learning models, strengthening the home-school partnership.
Student Enrichment Sessions:
Students attended enriching sessions on CPR, substance abuse awareness, exam stress management and career guidance, preparing them for future challenges.
Dr. Bhavana Pendke conducted an informative session on career options after class 12th for students of class XI and XII under the aegis of HQUM and G. Subarea.
Health Camps
We organized a comprehensive health camp, offering dental, vision, and general check-ups to ensure our students, well-being.
Eco Club
Under the Eco Club we conducted a plantation drive, an anti-plastic rally, poster-making, and a street play, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
In conclusion, this year has been a testament to our collective commitment to holistic education. Our students continue to shine in academics, co-curricular activities, and values. We thank all parents, staff, and stakeholders for their unwavering support.
